Small, practical tools we built for our own quotations, free for anyone planning a renovation. Everything runs in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
These are the two calculations we do first on almost every enquiry. One turns a floor plan into real wall lengths, because a plan without a scale is a picture. The other puts a market range around a job, because the most common opening question is whether the budget is anywhere near reality before anyone spends a Saturday on site visits.
Both run entirely in your browser. No account, no email capture, nothing sent to a server, and no watermark on the output. If a tool is useful enough that you would rather use it than message us, that is a fair outcome.

Why a carpentry workshop publishes these
Most of the time wasted in a renovation happens before anyone measures anything. A homeowner asks for a quotation without knowing the run of the wall, gets three numbers that are not comparable because they cover different scopes, and then has to start again. Both of these tools exist to move that conversation forward by one step.
They also make our own quoting faster, which is the honest reason they were built. We use the scale converter on plans customers send by WhatsApp, and we use the market ranges to say early whether a budget and a scope are in the same neighbourhood.
What they will not do
Neither tool is a quotation. A cabinet run priced from a market range and the same run priced from a site measure are different numbers, because the second one knows about the wall that is out of plumb and the floor that changed level when someone re-tiled.
Any money figure in these tools comes from a published third-party Malaysian source with the publisher named. None of it is our rate card, and we say so on the page rather than in a footnote.
